Our Discovery Calls are brief, informal conversations designed to help families understand whether Tabla Psychology may be the right service for them.

Who are Discovery Calls with?

Discovery Calls are held by James Turley (QTS), Specialist Teacher, Assessor and Director of Tabla Psychology.

What is the purpose of a Discovery Call?

The Discovery Call is non-clinical and exploratory. It is intended to:

  • answer general questions about our service
  • explain the different types of support and assessment pathways we offer
  • help you decide whether you would like to proceed with booking

What to expect

Discovery Calls last around 15 minutes and are relaxed and informal. During the call, James may:

  • explain the services we provide and how our processes work
  • answer general questions about assessments and support options
  • discuss practical considerations, including whether having our care dog, Freddie, present in an appointment may be helpful
  • note any adaptations that may help your child feel more comfortable
  • advise on how to proceed if you would like to book a service

  • Discovery Calls do not involve screening, assessment, or diagnosis
  • No clinical advice is provided
  • Discovery Calls are not a substitute for a consultation or assessment
