What are Adult Support Sessions?
Our psychologists offer continued support in the form of single or ad hoc 50-minute sessions with our Lead Psychologist, Dr Tamasine Black, or one of our clinical psychologist team.
Adult Support Sessions are an evidence-based post-diagnostic approach called “psychoeducation”. This therapeutic-approach provides information and support to better understand, support and empower people with Autism and / or ADHD and their family members.
These sessions are available to any adult who has worked with us, or family member of a child that has worked with us. These are charged individually at £130per 50 minute session, usually held via an online call. There may be a wait list.

What to expect - important information
What to Expect from Adult Support Sessions
Our adult support sessions provide a calm, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. These sessions are collaborative, and we aim to support you in a way that feels safe, respectful, and constructive.
To help you know what to expect, please read the information below:
- Please arrive on time
Sessions are scheduled carefully, and arriving on time ensures you have the full opportunity to engage without feeling rushed. The length of your session may be impacted by late arrival. - A space to talk things through
These sessions are a chance for us to talk openly about any difficulties you’re facing, explore strategies that may support you, and reflect together on your experiences. You are welcome to bring anything you’d like to discuss. - Written feedback is not routinely provided
These sessions are primarily talking-based. A written summary or feedback is not routinely provided after sessions, as the focus is on in-the-moment discussion and reflection. If a written record is needed for a specific reason, please let us know in advance so we can discuss whether this is possible. - Confidentiality
Everything discussed in session is kept confidential unless there are concerns about your safety or the safety of others. If any safeguarding issues arise, we will always discuss this with you and involve appropriate professionals if necessary.
If you have any questions about the sessions or would like to clarify anything further, please feel free to get in touch between sessions.
